New homes for the worms
We emptied the paper worms into the main worm farm which is going really well. We decided it would be better if they had a variety of food. The worm farm needs to be under a shelter which we will hopefully acccomplish soon. We are going to build a wonderful shelter so that worm wee is not diluted by the rain that gets in. Then we can use it in the garden or sell it to raise funds for future Allgreenz projects.
Unfortunately the sweetcorn we planted did not mature very well because of the inconsistent weather and we planted them a bit late. We have been given loads of seeds this year from Carol Raethel and Charlotte who helps us each week.
This year we are working towards getting our silver award and have already met with Beccy, our Enviroschools facilitator. Getting our silver award is going to be alot of work and really really really really clever thinking.
